The Man in the Brown Suit improved, don't y'know. A whimsical, far-fetched whodunit. Anne Beddingfeld lived her adventures in the dream world of “The Perils of Pamela,” the cliffhanger serial at the local cinema, until she encountered The Man in the Brown Suit in the Hyde Park Corner Tube Station of London’s subway system after an unsuccessful job interview.
Anne’s pursuit takes her to the Kimberley Diamond Mines in South Africa before the identity of the mastermind known as the Colonel is revealed; and only after she becomes the cliffhanger heroine in real life.

Reviews
Museum Misconception: Museum Misconception is a great wholesome mystery that kept my 7 children wanting just one more chapter read each evening! You'll find yourself wishing you too could visit Wood Stack and meet the Ranger Twins. We all highly suggest reading this book aloud to an audience of boys and girls. Although the main characters are a set of twin boys, my five daughters enjoyed the story just as much as their two brothers. We are looking forward to more adventures in Wood Stack....hoping a second book comes out soon!I We had many discussions and speculations on what would happen next in the story, and hope your family does too! —Angela
Museum Misconception: This was an exciting story to read. Kept me guessing. Ending left me hanging for the next book. Picture on the front reminds me of two brothers I know. —Bethany
Museum Misconception: This book will not disappoint. The characters are wholesome, but not unbelievably so. It held my interest until the end. I am always looking for good reading material that will capture the attention of my students and this definitely makes the list. —Jani (Teacher)
Museum Misconception: Character development, captivating storyline, suspense, and twists and turns along the way… this book has it all. I found it hard to put the book down! I particularly enjoyed the element of brothers working together as sleuths. Overall, it is a wholesome mystery packed with suspense and complex characters. My husband and I both want to visit Wood Stack and our new friends there, if only in the next book! We look forward to reading the next book in the series! Well done. —library sub
Ashton Abduction. Picking up after the last mystery left off, the new case at had comes with much more then trying to solve a mystery, but saving a life and keeping a promise to a friend. What makes the story even more thrilling is knowing the consequences of what should happen if they fail, or worse, get involved. Chris has written his latest installment to keep you guessing what has really happened and leave you stumped while hoping the twins are not too late.
